About Us
Before we left to my little league game, my grandma stopped us and captured this moment that will forever represent my childhood. In my oversized pants holding my T-Ball Bat, I brimmed in excitement for the opportunity to play.
The idea behind Community Through Sports is to give this same opportunity to kids in areas in which resources for sports are being depleted. All sports balls and equipment collected at our events is donated to selected public elementary schools in the historical communities of the Clayton, Cole, Whittier, and Five Points neighborhoods.
Become part of creating the opportunity to instill the lessons of Leadership, Teamwork, and Sportsmanship as we infuse sports back into the very fabric of our community.
With one swing of the bat, one catch of a ball, and tip of a cap, You can make the difference just as sports did in my life.
